Just been through Coventry and we're now at Rugby. I know it's not true but the station makes it look as though they built the station in the middle of nowhere, and then decided to build a town nearby to go with it.
Lots of announcements about people with tickets stamped "London Midland only", apparently they aren't valid on my train. Thankfully it doesn't apply to me, I don't much fancy having to haul cases around any more than I have to.
I'm listening to After Henry on my MP3 player, Joan Sanderson is just so priceless. Her character is the most amazing snob; I particularly loved her line that "common people are only there to tend to the people in the world who aren't common."
Not quite sure whether I'm laughing because she's funny or because I agree with her.
