Lunch

12.50pm. Stopped for lunch at about 12.30pm, and walked back to Bramber House with Steven and Kirsten. They are potentially quite an irritating (non-romantic) couple; she seemed to be slagging him off this morning for being cliquey but is happy to stroll along with him and chat. I was not keen to feel like a third wheel.

I dropped my stuff off in my room at Swanborough, then dashed across the road to Bramber House for some lunch. The restaurant is on the first floor, and the queue ran out of the restaurant, down the corridor, down the stairs, and almost out to the front door.

I stood in the queue for a few minutes, chatting to a psychology student, who has a very dark henna Ψ on her wrist and on her leg.

After a few minutes I decided that as the queue was barely moving, lunch could go and hang itself, so I grabbed a savoury pastry slice and a milkshake from McColls, and now I'm back in my room.

Feeling quite glum today unfortunately. I am enjoying the course but I feel like I've been here for ages. The days are long and involved, and there is rarely time to digest what you have done.

Fingers crossed I will feel a little brigher this afternoon.
