So far this morning we have been looking at igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, and categorising them according to their formation habitat, and where they fit into a diagram of the rock cycle.
We have also been classifying them in terms of colour, grain size and sorting, evidence of fossils and reaction to acid. Very interesting.
I'm on a tea break at the moment, hearing stories from blue eyed Steven about how he slept for 12 hours last night to recover from his hangover yesterday. All that man seems to do of a night is to drink. It's a pity because if he isn't careful, it'll be the only thing that people remember him for. More later.
