1.10pm. Someone in our group heard that the group that did Activity E (the research and scientific poster) had finished theirs by 2.15pm and buggered off to the pub! I wouldn't like to think what sort of state they would be in by the evening session from 7.15pm, when you have to present your poster to at least one other group for critical analysis. I hope that our group does not rush their work for a similar reason.
1.25pm. Alan just called.. he always knows how to cheer me up. It was lovely to hear from him. Apparently there may be some rain coming in from continental Europe from around 7pm. I am getting off campus to try and clear my head a little bit, so I will need to either take a brolly or expect to get damp. Given how windy it is by the sea I might just take something waterproof. I don't care if I get soaked really, I need a change of scene.
