Dinner tonight for me consisted of some vegetable thing (the fish fish looked a little dry), cous cous with vegetables, some grapes and some orange juice.
I jumped onto a 25 bus which stopped just outside the East Slope Bar. That took me firstly through the University of Brighton complex (man what a dump that looked), then eventually went into Brighton.
I got off the bus in the rain, and walked along the pier, watching the gulls and the people. I phoned home, and it was lovely to speak to Alan. It brought it home to me that the end of the course is in sight.
There is just one full day to go, which is Activity E, the research and scientific poster presentation. Suffice to say that a number of people in our group (yellow rectangles) are not looking forward to it.
I can't wait to throw my arms around Alan and kiss him. I am now sitting in Legends nursing a pint, listening to some guys talking. Very upper middle class conversation. Legends looks completely different to how I remember it, mind you it has been several years since our last visit. It is so nice to be able to see the sea again, aside from Birling Gap and Newhaven I haven't seen it at all since I've been down here.
